They were called "Bethlehem is Busy","Dollars and Census"," Everybody wants to stay with Him"," Miracle on Bethlehem St." and " Receive the King".
I loved getting up there and singing and acting!
This is my costume for the christmas concert! Mommy sewed it for me. The second graders were villagers in Biblical times.

I am so happy you got to sing five songs and do some acting, with worksheets while you waited. I love your costume, your Mom is very clever to sew it for you. How did you get the idea and design the pattern? Where did you find the material for the costume?

We had some snow today, but it didn't stay, we might have some more tomorrow though.

Your look so beautiful in your costume. I am only sorry I couldn't have seen you on stage performing. You Mom did a great job sewing your costume! I made the big gingerbread house yesterday and put all your pictures (including Malia) in the windows. It looks really cute and is waiting for you all to tear it apart. Do you think we'll be able to wait until after Christmas before you dig into it?? I don't know! Audrey, Kate and Cassidy are anxious to go to Christmas in the Park with all of us when you get here. So..come soon!

I bought the pattern and fabric at Joann's. It was silly because it cost me more than buying a cheapo tunic off Oriental Trading. But I had put it off saying "I'll just make something" and there was no time left for ordering off the internet. I had an idea for making something without a pattern, and I should have just done that. The pattern and the amount of fabric it called for really drove up my costs!
But it was quick and easy to make - a good thing.
Still, I wish I had not even looked in the pattern books and had just improvised.
